Freedom Multiplied
Orphanage
Vision
To obey the charge of Christ, “…to love the orphan and widow…” by rescuing as many as we can out of the gutter and empower them with the Spirit of adoption in our heavenly Father and multiply through them to reach more.
Summary
There are more than 30,000,000 orphans in India. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Trafficked, starving, drug addicted children live at and survive by begging and stealing at local train stations and neighborhoods.
In 2014 instead of walking by these kids every day we started tackling this challenge one kid at a time by feeding and witnessing to them at the local train station in Bihar North India. After a year of feeding them, providing clothing, medical and hygiene we realized we had to do more. Today we have rescued 77 children off the streets. Due to the high persecution, we also have 9 children in our care whose parents were killed for their faith in Christ Jesus.
Actions, not just words
1
We have 2 orphanages in rented properties for both boys and girls.2
We feed, clothe, house, parent and provide for every need as well as give them a formal education.3
We purchased 2 acres of land and are building a permanent home that can house our children plus another 75.4
We are opening a 2 nd smaller home in a neighboring state to help with more orphans and children whose parents are being persecuted.5
Our children are growing up in the admonition of the Lord and working with local pastors to go back to the same streets to share the Gospel.6
The most difficult task is to then prepare the kids to leave the home as mature adults, and be productive and influential citizens of India and the Church.
